Photographing the Utah Badlands
Photography approaches art only when it creates an emotional response in the viewer. I started taking pictures more than 25 years ago and while my cameras have changed my philosophy has not. A great teacher once told me… it’s not the camera that counts, but the 6 inches behind it. My goal with both portraiture and landscape work is to capture the moment. I strive to recreate for the viewer what I experienced, what I saw, what I felt. My goal is to create memories, those frozen moments in time that can take you back to that significant event even years later.
As a portrait photographer my objective is to capture you at your best. I am committed to the highest quality standards and use Canon professional equipment. Images are finished in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to provide a totally professional look.
